Divorce Grief – How To Get Through It

Remember the old commercial, “there’s an app for that”?

I recently discovered that there are 2 websites for those of you that are in the “divorce grief – how to get through it” stage. At some point, you have to get through the denial, shock, and anger, and move into acceptance. That’s when you decide which memories you want to keep, and which memories you would just as soon forget.

definition of conflict

The first website is www.NeverLikedItAnyway.com. You can sell all of your stuff that reminds you of your former lover. The website describes itself as a place where once loved gifts from once loved lovers get a second chance. For you, purging stuff can be a great step for moving on.

The second website is www.FutureMe.org. You know the love lessons you’re learning right now? You’ll forget them as soon as you meet your next lover. Are you feeling a moment of inspiration, and you know it’s fleeting because everything else is crap? Write a note to your future self to remember those lessons and moments of inspiration. It’s just a matter of writing the note, providing your email address, and deciding the date to have your email to yourself delivered. The creators of the website say, “Getting a surprise from the past is actually kind of an amazing thing.” It can also pull you through the tough times.
